The James 16 Groups has a good reputation solely due to its many satisfied customers. Our detractors are few and far between, but we have them nonetheless. We try very hard to be upfront about what we do and how we do it, but what you must understand is that this group was not started from a business plan or some pre-thought out way to make money; it was started by request from a small group of roughly twenty people. This group grew out of the free chart thread at Forex Factory.

This has not been, nor will it ever be, a business in the sense of “how can we obtain as many subscribers as we can to make as much money as we can”. You could list every trading education service in the world and you’re going to have to put us in another category. We are apples and oranges compared to them, because we don’t do this for the same reasons (not that there is anything wrong with their reasons as long as they produce results). We have never spent a dime on advertising. We have no affiliates and nothing to promote us.
One unhappy customer is too much for me personally. As unrealistic as that may sound, I still think that way and so - I’m going to give you 8 reasons not to join to ensure that you fully understand what we are not.

You Should NOT Join the James 16 Group if:

You are looking for Live Trading signals or set ups. We may do this someday, but for now we are strictly an educational service.
You are looking for some self proclaimed guru to make you rich. I teach my 25 years of experience – nothing more and nothing less.
You are looking for a totally mechanical system that will take all the work out of your hands and make you rich in six months. We don’t have such a system.
You are looking to spend one month with us and obtain and understand everything we have to offer. I believe we can do great things for you over a period of time, but this business is not for people that think a month or two of training is enough. The reason we offer free membership after one year is to reward those that are truly serious.
You expect me to be on the site everyday. I don’t want or need a job. I am on the site almost every day anyway, but once again, this site was not an attempt on my part to create a business or job for myself. I am always available via email. No question sent via my email goes unanswered.
You are expecting new material to be released at regular intervals. You are purchasing access to current material that if taken seriously (in conjunction with following my advice) will take you months to fully implement. I do release new material from time to time, but I am careful about what I present to my members.
You are looking to be spoon fed. The material is there and the support is there. It’s your responsibility to take it seriously. There is a reason that over 90% of those that attempt this business fail. This business will rip our heart out and hand it to you. My goal is to not let that happen to you. I cannot guarantee that it won’t, but I can give you 25 years of experience and advice on the best ways to make sure that at the very least you don’t do the stupid things most new traders do.
The monthly fee is a burden to you and your family financially. You can obtain free help in the free thread at Forex Factory until you are better prepared. I help non members all the time via this thread.

Our satisfaction rate via a poll within the group is currently a little over 95%. With that kind of rate, you might easily ask why I am telling you all of this. It’s simple – this is a hobby for me and not a business. I care about people in general and I care about myself. I don’t want unhappy people who joined expecting one thing and find they have received something different.
